  • It typically takes about six weeks to complete your package from initial consultation to final lesson. We request that the second lesson be booked no later than 3 months after your personal shopping consultation.

  • Every person’s starting off point is different! If you need to make a clean start, expect to invest several hundred dollars in high-quality makeup, brushes, and skincare, if applicable. If you already have plenty and we agree that the colors are right for you, plan to simply fill in the gaps. Some clients spend $100, while other's spend $1,000! You dictate your budget on new products.

  • Our business hours are between 9:30-2pm EST on select weekdays. Please see our booking page to select an appointment. Contact us with any special scheduling requests.

  • We will start with a basic, simple makeup look. Even for a wedding, you’ll want to master the basics first so you can nail down the more advanced steps next. Depending on your skill set, we will move as slow or fast as you need. This is not where you’ll be learning an “Instaglam” style makeup look with heavy contouring - we want you to look like the best version of you at the end of your application.

  • Yes! If requested, all lessons (in-person and virtual) are recorded via Zoom and shared within 24 hours so that you may practice in your own time. If you wish to not be recorded, just let us know.

  • Absolutely - our services are inclusive to ALL people. We’ve supporting trans clients at different stages of their transition - anywhere from just beginning to explore what makeup means to them to completing their facial reconstruction. We are sensitive to your needs and skill level, and will discuss and work from where you are at right now.

  • We use only non-toxic, clean brands. Some of our favorites are: Ilia, Kosas, Beautycounter, RMS, Kjaer Weis, Alima Pure, True Botanicals, and basically anything you can find at The Detox Market. As a brand partner, we may make a small commission from products we suggest. We do not carry inventory to purchase at the studio.
